We are part of a group of companies engaged in various businesses including Sales and Purchase of Ships for Recycling, International Commodity Trading, Ship Breaking, Processing and Trading of Scrap Metals, Timber and Logs Trading, Ship Owning and Management etc.

Beginning

At the turn of the century in year 2001, the world entered an unprecedented phase of growth. The demand for commodities and ships grew phenomenally. This made the number of ships available for scrapping go down. This was the time to re-invent and we looked for opportunities beyond Indian shores.

Journey

Call it our prudence or an opportunity in disguise, the financial crisis of 2008, led us into establishing the business of Ship Cash Buying. Due to the crisis, shipping industry was hit hard; hence there was an increase in the number of ships available for demolition.

What we do

Cash Buying

Usually, a ship has a fixed lifespan of a few decades during which it withstands so much wear and tear that repair and retro-fitting becomes nonviable.

Metal Scrap Trading

Metal Scrap Trade has been our forte over all these years. Metal Scrap trading is always a consistent business for us, as it is a raw material for a factory; the trade is always on, even in the volatile currency and commodity markets all of us live in.

Timber Trading

Though we started Timber only a decade back, we graduated from containerised cargo to full ship loads in a matter of few years. This is owing to our rigorous quality control practices with representatives on both load ports and destination ports.

Propeller Scrap Trading

We trade in propellers in India and also export them to Europe and Far East Asia. Our main market for Ship Propeller scrap are the large Indian alloy manufacturers who buy ship propeller scrap as an alloying component for the production of their various alloy grades.

Alloy Ingots

ACE EXIM supplies ingots made of Copper and Copper Alloys. ACE EXIM has a very closely associated Copper / Bronze Alloy Ingot manufacturing company which is based in Bhavnagar, India.

Veneer Trading

ACE EXIM deals in wood veneer which are very thin sheets of wood, usually thinner than 3mm, obtained by continuous peeling a tree trunk using a sharp blade on an automatic lathe.
